Dr. Matthew Hudson Appointed Co-Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Participatory Medicine

The Journal of Participatory Medicine (JoPM) and JMIR Publications are thrilled to announce and welcome Dr. Matthew Hudson as Co-Editor-in-Chief of JoPM. Dr. Hudson joined the Editorial Board last year and in his short tenure, he has been an enthusiastic contributor to the JoPM Editorial Board.

In his new role with JoPM, Dr. Hudson will be involved in helping the Editorial Board raise the visibility of the Journal.

Dr. Hudson is Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. As Director of Cancer Care Delivery Research (CCDR) at Prisma Health (Greenville, South Carolina), he focuses on improving cancer care outcomes and patient well-being. Dr. Hudson was previously a member of the Patient Engagement Advisory Panel at PCORI (Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute), where he helped develop guiding principles on equity and inclusion.
