Amy Price, DPhil
Dr. Amy Price is a senior scientist, editor, and participatory research leader working at the intersection of AI, health communication, and patient-centered innovation. She brings together patients, clinicians, and researchers as equal partners to co-produce knowledge, and leads a living review on AI-powered co-production and shared decision-making. She serves on committees for the WHO and FDA, contributes to initiatives like the National AI Research Resource, and leads global networks advancing equitable, trustworthy AI.

Daniel Sands, MD, MPH
Dr. Sands is a practicing physician and clinical informatics expert with over 30 years in health IT. He co-founded the Society for Participatory Medicine, where he is chief advocacy officer, and has held leadership roles at Cisco, Zix, and other companies. At Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, he trained in informatics and helped pioneer clinical decision support, EHRs, and one of the first patient portals. He holds degrees from Brown, Ohio State, and Harvard, and currently serves on faculty at Harvard Medical School while practicing and teaching at Beth Israel Deaconess.

Denise Silber
Denise Silber is an entrepreneur, board advisor, and pioneering digital health communicator. She founded Basil Strategies and the Doctors 2.0 & You conferences, and created VRforHealth.com, a platform dedicated to the wellness and clinical uses of virtual reality. A published author and event host, she writes the Praticien Connecté series for French physicians and serves as a Digital EU ambassador and member of France’s FNIM. Denise is a Harvard MBA, a global Harvard alumni podcast host, and in 2011 was awarded the Legion of Honor for her contributions to digital health.
Gilles Frydman
Gilles Frydman has been a pioneer of online health communities since founding the Association of Cancer Online Resources (ACOR) in 1995. ACOR has served over 600,000 cancer patients and their caregivers to optimize patient care, for which Gilles was named by CNN in 2008 as one of six Empowered Patients Health Heroes. He blogs regularly at e-patients.net, is a frequent speaker to healthcare audiences in the U.S. and France, and has appeared in many publications ranging from the British Medical Journal to The Wall Street Journal.
Dave deBronkart
Dave deBronkart, known as “e-Patient Dave,” is a cancer survivor and leading advocate for patient empowerment and participatory medicine. A co-founder of the Society for Participatory Medicine, he gained national attention with his call to “Gimme my DaM data” and has since become a global keynote speaker for patient rights. He has served as the Mayo Clinic’s Visiting Professor in Internal Medicine and is currently exploring how empowered patients use AI to improve care.
